Fast 6blackcar.jpeg orangecar.jpeg

This movie was really cool and one of the best ones that was ever made. This movie has my favorite actors in it. They are Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. This movie is about people with fast cars that do street racing for fun and money and pink slips to others cars. They have been in about three or more movies together. You all should watch this movie and you may like it. Thank you for listening to my opinion.
I would give this movie a 4.8 star rating. By Brayden

I think the Avengers are boring. There is nothing good. The only parts that are good is when they fight. My favorite Avenger is Iron Man. I also like it when there is fire. And again it’s a boring movie. It’s the kind of movie you sleep to. I wouldn’t recommend taking your special some one to watch it.

Video Game review
left4dead14.jpg

Left4dead is so so awesome. You can shoot zombies. What is cool about Left4dead is you have a team to help you kill the zombies. There are so many levels that I can`t even count. When your life goes to half percent you fall to the ground, but one of your team members can heal you. There are 5 monsters that are zombies. There is the Runner where he jumps on your shoulders and hits your head, The Gun: where he charges at you he grabs you and keeps running, and the second to last one is the Gobbler he throws up acid and if you step on it your life goes down, and the last one is the witch if you wake her up she slashes your face so don`t wake her up TRUST ME!!!!!

If You Knew
By N

I wonder if you know,
Did you think I was dumb?
Did you think you were slick?
Did you think I didn’t know what you were doing when strangers always came over?
When you acted shady and thought it was a secret?
When you would come downstairs drowsy and high as a kite?
What were you on this time? Perks? Tabby’s? Oxy’s? or what you shot up with a needle?
When you pulled wads and stacks of cash out of your pocket, even though you never had a job the whole life I’ve known you?
Yeah, I guess you thought you were sneaky as a snake, but I’m a cobra and I smelled you from a mile away.
Did you know what you were doing when you had me counting all your pills then switch out to counting bills?
A Seven year old little girl watching out the window screaming at her grandma she wants her daddy to come back home.
Did she tell you?
Did she tell you how I stayed up till two o clock in the morning waiting for you to come home?
Did she tell you?
Did she tell you how loud and long I would cry after every time you beat me?
Did she tell you?
Did she tell you how I prayed out loud to God every night asking him to make you nice? To make you love me?
Maybe she told you, but you must not have cared.
An eight year old little girl being walked to school by her dad. She wasn’t walking fast enough so you pushed her to the ground.
Gave her a bloody lip, a bloody nose, knocked out a tooth and scraped up her face on the cement.
Then you played if off as an accident.
Telling her mom it was an accident you didn’t mean to knock her down.
A nine year old little girl fights with an eight year old boy while playing with an eight year old. So you took her in the back room and whipped her ass with a belt 22 times.
You didn’t think I counted did you?
I still have a scar from that day and you played it off as my fault.
A ten year old little girl comes home from a play date at noon; she has a drop of mascara still on her eyelashes from playing in her friend’s mommy’s makeup.
So you yell and scream at her till she tells you to stop.
She looks away from your evil glare so you get in her face even more.
She cries louder so you slap her across the face more than once telling her to shut up, you give her a black eye and bruised cheek.
Grandma tried to stop you, but you pushed her away and you drag me out back to yell and beat me even more
When we go back inside grandma pulls me into her arms and won’t let go. The sad thing is me and grandma were the ones who had to leave grandma’s house. Not you.
The police took pictures a few days later.
We came back home after you went to jail
You never apologized after you got out.
An eleven year old little girl always eager to go to her mom’s house
Who you always threaten to stop her from seeing
Coming home from mommy’s every time, shaking and scared,
Always crying to mommy she doesn’t want to come back to you.
One morning she wakes up to her step dad dead.
When she comes home you tell her to stop crying, he wasn’t her dad.
You said it’s a good thing he’s dead, he’s a dead beat anyway
You made me go to school that day
Still upset and traumatized by watching the man I loved as my dad, turn purple in the face, die before my eyes. But what did you care? You didn’t. of course.
Fast forward a few years.
A fourteen year old little girl has her black friend, Chase, at her house with her.
They’re watching a movie upstairs when you stopped by, then you dragged him down the stairs by his neck screaming at him and you throw him outside.
Poor kid was too scared to talk to her anymore for a long time after that.
You yell at her and try to take her phone away that you don’t even pay for, she refuses, so you wrestle her to the ground hitting her all over, making her let go of it.
She breaks her phone and runs away crying.
You yelled and beat me for an hour for that one.
A fourteen year old girl gets caught selling pot at school,
You visit her in DT and yell and hit her till you are escorted to leave.
She’s put in foster care, because you are unfit to parent.
At a team meeting she hears you from the lobby screaming in the meeting room,
about how she’s going to get pregnant as a teen,
End up a prostitute on the street,
Die a drug addict,
A crack fiend.
You didn’t know I heard your every word did you?
When I came into the room you fell silent.
The meeting began
You criticized everyone in that room.
You upset her by saying she shouldn’t go live with her mom.
She yells at you liked you yelled at her all those years,
“She’s a better parent than you ever even tried to be”
You got angry and started yelling at her.
She storms out of the room after flipping you off and screaming “F*@% YOU!”
Her foster mom had to come out to help her calm down and help her breathe and stop crying.
You never apologized for that one either.
You don’t thing I remember you telling me I would be a slut on State Street and offering to buy me light up heels to start my career.
Saying if I’m lucky you just might throw me a dollar for a burger.
And you were surprised I tried to sell pot??
Growing up a kid wants to be like their parents.
I tried that too, but I guess that wasn’t okay.
The worst part is she still wants her daddy there to hold her tight and tell her he loves her.
Am I the fool or are you?
Thanks dad, you were a great role model.
Love, your daughter, who you claim to love so so so much.

My Dear Sister (Vanessa)
I’m locked up in this room staring at these white walls.
These walls got me going insane.
I’m going through this pain, crying myself to sleep, trying to figure out how the heck could you do this to me?
But I guess I just have to let things be, Can’t change the past,
Dang now I got trust issues, always had them, but you just made them worst. Should a known from the start that you were a little snitch just like your mother. But how could I?
You were my sis, now you hecka got me seeing you different, thought you were my ride or die?
I just thought wrong, that saying is true, Trust No Beezie.
Never thought you’d do me dirty like this?
We were once little kids climbing on those trees, growing up with you thought you
Were my true sis.
Daddy was never there, Mommy’s always yelling.
We only had each other, now I got myself thanks for making me realize who to trust, Things happen for a reason. I always tell myself what’s the reason?

Much Love,
K

Blood In Blood Out…

  • My favorite movie is Blood in Blood Out. The reason why this is my favorite movie is because ever since I was little and since I’ve been growing up me and mi carnals, and Hermana always would watch it… now when I look back I always reminisce on the good old times. Blood in Blood Out is about true life experiences. Paco and Cruz are half brothers, and their bi-racial cousin is Miklo. Vato locos forever homes….They are three gang members from east L.A and that movie goes heart to heart (: chingon status! The moral of the story is to not shoot up heroin!!!)

Music Review--------------------------Hopsin

Hopsin is one of my favorite rappers. A lot of his old stuff and new stuff is pretty dope, but some of his songs get over played like “Sag My Pants”. Some are just not that good like “Nocturnal Rainbows”. Their record label is called Funk Volume. One of the most “real songs that he made is called “Ill Mind Of Hopsin 5”, listen to it.

Music
Tupac

One of my favorite songs from Tupac is Keep Your Head Up. I like what the song says about supporting people and to treat women right and good. Another song I also like from Tupac is Changes. I like what the song says about we need some people to change how they live. Another reason why I like Tupac is because he lives in California.

Missin you,
By: S
Girl, I wanna love you so tell me what’s the cure,
Maybe I’m sick take my temperature,
Tellin me you love me, but I’m just too immature,
But I’m grown, the drugs just turned me unpure,
I’ve grown to love you over the past four years,
I know I didn’t choose you over the beers,
And now I’m in Treatment with different peers,
I think about you at night & it brings me to tears,
Makes me feel like a beezy when I cry,
I know last time I promised I’d be sober, I did lie,
If I didn’t have you in my life I’d rather die.
So I’ll show you and make you believe that I Won’t get High,

© I love you, I miss you, so for now I’ll say goodbye…

I’m finally out of here!
My name is Brea I have been here at ARTEC Residential since September 17, 2013. I have had so many ups and downs since my intake, 2 relapses, 3 level drops and many nights waking up with cold sweats scared that I just gave up all my hard work. Sobriety has not been easy it’s been very hard actually, probably the hardest thing I will ever be faced with, but it’s been more than worth it. I am now 6 weeks clean with no intention to ever use again! I never thought I could be where I am today. I am healthy and strong and excited for a long full life without drugs. I have learned so much, I am capable of living life sober! Who would have thought! When my ‘’homies’’ or ever ‘’ride or die’’ boyfriend weren’t around ARTEC and my family was! Crazy huh! I have learned so much about myself, and it’s a damn good feeling! If I can conquer addiction anyone can! I still have a long journey ahead of me, but I am confident that with everything I am taking from here I can do it no matter what trials come my way! I am so proud of myself and I am rooting for all of you! It takes a very strong person to do this! Don’t ever forget how amazing you all are! You’ve got this! Stay up! // B
